Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive features from the database layer to the user interface, taking full ownership of the technical stack.

• Create and execute scalable systems that accommodate growth and complexity at all levels.

• Deliver high-quality code swiftly by strategically utilizing AI tools for scaffolding, testing, and refactoring, while ensuring craftsmanship in intricate logic.

• Design robust APIs and services that enhance seamless user experiences.

• Improve system performance across the entire stack, including database queries, API response times, and UI rendering.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and design, to provide unified solutions.

• Lead technical decisions within your area, balancing practical approaches with long-term sustainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in building production software across various layers of the stack in dynamic environments.

• Proficient in at least one modern programming language/framework (such as Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Go, etc.) and open to working across the stack.

• Strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.

• Experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis, MongoDB) for effective data modeling and query optimization.

• Skilled in REST APIs and contemporary web technologies.

• Familiarity with GraphQL or frontend frameworks (like React, Vue) is advantageous.

• Comfortable working with cloud platforms, containerization, and infrastructure.
