Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Engage in daily stand-up meetings with our teams based in NYC, LA, and Costa Rica.

• Develop clean, maintainable code that adheres to SOLID principles and exemplifies software craftsmanship.

• Provide thoughtful context with every pull request and extend the same quality of review to your colleagues.

• Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) for applicable functionalities.

• Collaborate through pair programming sessions and thorough code reviews.

• Draft architecture documents for new features and participate in technical design discussions prior to development.

• Assume technical ownership of a significant segment of an enterprise application that is transforming content production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in software development.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• A passion for software craftsmanship and brilliance in problem-solving.

• A good sense of humor and a personable nature.

• Demonstrated professionalism and maturity.

• A strong work ethic, determination, and enthusiasm for tackling technical challenges.

• Must possess a solid understanding of OOP and SOLID principles, with practical experience in: C# or Java, JavaScript, and relational databases (e.g., MS SQL, MySQL).

• Ideally, have experience with: ORMs & Repositories, Dependency Injection & Unit Testing / TDD, as well as MVVM front-end frameworks & TypeScript.
