Senior Software Engineer

📋 Description

• System Engineering: Design, develop, and sustain large-scale production services, web applications, data pipelines, and streaming systems.

• Agile Participation: Engage actively within an Agile/Scrum framework, taking part in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demonstrations.

• Operational Excellence: Troubleshoot production issues across services and various levels of the stack; contribute to systems essential for the company’s current and future operations.

• Mentorship & Influence: Guide others within the Software Engineering team by articulating facts, policies, and practices.

• Standards & Tooling: Support the enhancement of organizational engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

• Quality & Validation: Assess code for validity, appropriate structure, and conformity to industry standards; engage in testing and certification.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience.

• Agile Methodology: Demonstrated experience in Agile environments, skilled in iterative development and collaboration with Product and QA teams.

• Programming Languages: Required proficiency in Golang. (Candidates with expert-level Java or Python experience who are committed to transitioning to Go will also be considered).

• Cloud Native Architecture: Extensive knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).

• System Design: Proven experience in designing and maintaining distributed systems capable of managing high traffic and large-scale datasets.

• Database Expertise: Strong proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases.

• SDLC: In-depth understanding of the entire Software Development Life Cycle.
