Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and enhance web applications to achieve optimal performance and scalability.

• Assume responsibility for various legacy applications, maintaining stability while making enhancements.

• Develop and interpret class diagrams, ER diagrams, and architecture diagrams as part of system design and documentation.

• Integrate, update, and enhance first- and third-party API libraries.

• Analyze and efficiently resolve service bug report tickets with meticulous attention to detail.

• Contribute to and manage code repositories utilizing Git.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.

• Engage in agile development practices, delivering outcomes in fast-paced cycles.

• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of pertinent professional experience.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong expertise in the MERN stack (JavaScript, Express, React, Node.js).

• Proficiency in Python for additional integration and backend responsibilities.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and ticket management systems (e.g., JIRA).

• Comprehensive knowledge of system modeling (class diagrams, ER diagrams, architecture diagrams).

• Proficient with Git and best practices in version control.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Demonstrated capacity to collaborate with stakeholders and comprehend diverse project requirements.

• Ability to accurately estimate timelines and effectively manage workload.
