Senior Software Engineer – Android

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Application and SDK Development: Create, develop, and sustain the core SDKs, applications, and libraries utilized by all programs operating on our Android POS devices.

• Architecture and Performance: Play an active role in defining and advancing the platform architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and exceptional performance.

• Continuous Improvement: Recognize and implement enhancements in CI/CD processes, automated testing, and platform monitoring.

• Technical Mentorship: Act as a technical resource, guiding and supporting developers from various teams that utilize the platform.

• Code Quality: Guarantee code excellence and standardization through code reviews and adherence to development best practices (SOLID, Clean Architecture).

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience (at least 6 years) in native Android development using Kotlin or Java (mandatory).

• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining SDKs, libraries, or intricate platform modules.

• Comprehensive understanding of software architectures (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture) and design principles (SOLID).

• Acquainted with dependency management (Gradle) and project modularization.

• Knowledge and experience with Android background services (WorkManager, ForegroundService, BroadcastReceiver, etc.).

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD processes.

• Practical experience in unit and integration testing.

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).

• Understanding of connectivity and network protocols or experience using libraries such as OkHttpClient, UrlConnection, Ktor.
