Senior Software Engineer – all genders

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and take ownership of product features and backend services that cater to our expanding customer base.

• Lead the technical execution of intricate projects, guiding them from initial discovery to production and subsequent iterations.

• Create scalable systems capable of processing and analyzing extensive cloud environments (e.g., clients with over 1 million AWS resources).

• Design and enhance integrations with cloud platforms, MDM systems, and third-party services.

• Enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability as we transition to enterprise-level workloads.

• Work collaboratively with Product and stakeholders to convert genuine customer and compliance requirements into robust technical solutions.

• Review code, offer constructive feedback, and elevate the overall quality standards of the team.

• Mentor fellow engineers through pair programming, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.

• Actively participate in shaping our engineering standards, architecture, and culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in SaaS or product-oriented settings.

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, ideally with NestJS or similar frameworks.

• Solid frontend expertise with Vue.js or another contemporary frontend framework.

• Experience in designing and utilizing RESTful APIs and working with distributed systems.

• In-depth understanding of PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.

• Practical experience in shipping features from design to production.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP).

• Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

• A strong sense of ownership, pragmatism, and accountability for your deliverables.

• Excellent communication skills and a passion for collaborating within cross-functional teams.

• A curious mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for learning, improving, and tackling challenging problems.
