Senior Software Engineer – AI, Fintech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Create and implement automated, reusable training pipelines to guarantee consistent and scalable model delivery across the partner portfolio.

• Construct ETL pipelines with deliberate feature engineering to ensure clean and reliable inputs for pricing models.

• Develop and deploy real-time machine learning pricing solutions into production, overseeing the entire process from model development to live environment.

• Monitor production systems for latency, drift, and training-serving discrepancies, continually optimizing to uphold model integrity.

• Conduct champion-challenger tests on pricing and product construction levers to identify enhancements and adapt to changing market conditions.

• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product stakeholders to convert business requirements into well-defined technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably within production ML systems or extensive pricing platforms.

• Expertise in Python, Scala, and SQL, specifically applied to production ML systems rather than exploratory projects.

• Experience with data modeling, software architecture, and large-scale distributed data processing frameworks.

• Profound knowledge of ML algorithms and their application in contexts such as pricing, demand forecasting, or related commercial areas.

• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, with a proven history of identifying issues before they escalate to production.

• A product-oriented mindset that prioritizes customer outcomes, even in deeply technical work.

• Excellent collaborative communication skills that resonate across data science, engineering, and business stakeholder groups.
