This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Coordinate High-Velocity Workflows: Utilize cutting-edge agentic coding tools (e.g., Cursor, multi-agent environments) to significantly enhance feature prototyping, code generation, and testing coverage.
• Take Ownership of Guardrails & Quality: Serve as the principal reviewer and architect; establish specifications, define repo-context guardrails, and assess AI-accelerated outputs for concealed security vulnerabilities, scalability issues, and architectural coherence.
• Develop Scalable Application and Data Layers: Design, construct, and sustain our data pipelines and applications to cater to our extensive user base.
• Connect the Data: Collaborate closely with product, client services, and data science teams to convert raw pipeline outputs into actionable insights.
• Lead Greenfield Engineering: Assume full responsibility for the design, construction, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications, seamlessly transitioning between rapid prototyping and robust production systems.
• Significant experience throughout the complete feature development life cycle: Collaborating with product managers, defining scope, and creating data models and pipeline architectures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing agentic coding tools such as Cursor AI and/or Claude.
• Over 5 years of engineering experience, with expertise in Python and SQL development.
• Experience in designing, building, and launching backend architectures that accommodate multi-tenant, multi-user scenarios through pipeline performance and data quality assessments.
• Capability to remain agile and transition between rapid prototyping and stable production development.
• Proficient in writing technical design documents, conducting code reviews, and upholding cutting-edge engineering practices.
• Ability to ask critical questions to grasp a client’s business challenges and demonstrate the business impact of your technical solutions through data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent collaboration abilities, open to providing and receiving constructive feedback across teams.
• A keen interest in analytics and fostering data-driven decision-making.
• Compensation: The base salary range is $190-225K, with flexibility based on a candidate’s experience and background. Our compensation package also includes an annual bonus plan and company equity plan (RSUs).
