Senior Software Engineer, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create, execute, and deliver scalable software systems centered around AI.

• Spearhead the development of agentic AI functionalities aimed at detecting vulnerabilities, automating penetration testing workflows, optimizing processes, and enhancing threat intelligence.

• Take ownership of the complete development cycle of product features, from initial concept through to production deployment and ongoing monitoring.

• Actively engage in and lead the design and implementation of AI-integrated systems, fostering effective software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.

• Facilitate technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and lead design sessions, sharing your expertise to enhance the team's skills.

• Offer mentorship and guidance to junior engineers to promote their professional development.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to embed AI capabilities into larger systems and applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in distributed systems and backend software engineering.

• Proficiency in AI technologies, such as LLMs, RAG, MCP, etc.

• Strong understanding of token usage optimization and LLM cost reduction techniques.

• Expert in Golang (4+ years) with solid practical experience in Python.

• Significant experience with microservices, REST API design, gRPC, unit testing, and BDD testing methodologies.

• Strong design capabilities are essential; familiarity with UML is a plus, and exposure to Domain Driven Design is desirable.

• Experience with asynchronous messaging technologies like Google PubSub and Kafka.

• Thorough knowledge of NoSQL and RDBMS technologies.

• Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Environments (preferably GCP).

• Experience working on agile teams.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all channels.

• Proven experience in developing and scaling microservice-based applications.

• A demonstrated ability to succeed in a collaborative environment involving various stakeholders and subject matter experts.
