Senior Software Developer, HealthTec

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborating with the Product Owner and fellow members of the development team, you will elevate our software solutions to new heights.

• You will design and develop software solutions and processes using .NET and Java alongside your colleagues, utilizing the most suitable frameworks and technologies.

• This may involve intricate backend components, and when applicable, frontend elements in .NET, as well as web applications, web services, or automation solutions to enhance our business processes or meet customer needs.

• You will assess existing software solutions, evolve them sustainably, and enhance their maintainability, stability, and performance.

• You will be accountable for the technical design and ongoing development of our software architecture, contributing to technology and design decisions.

• You will assist colleagues with quality assurance by implementing test-driven development principles.

• You will share your own ideas to optimize our processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in (business) computer science or a comparable IT qualification.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.

• Proficiency with common .NET / .NET Core / .NET Framework technologies, including an understanding of the CLR and garbage collection.

• Optional: Experience with Java and web frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, XML/XSLT, REST, TypeScript, JavaScript.

• Basic knowledge of working with databases and SQL.

• Familiarity with build and CI processes and version control tools; knowledge of test automation techniques and experience with container technologies is also desirable.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented software development, clean code principles, and common design patterns.

• Experience in developing and consuming web APIs and interfaces (e.g., REST, SOAP).

• An agile mindset and eagerness to explore new technologies and broaden your skill set.

• Excellent and fluent German skills (B2 to C1) are required; good English skills are a plus.
