Senior Software Developer, Android Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and implement high-performance, large-scale native Android applications.

• Enhance and sustain a highly scalable, multi-team modular architecture.

• Develop and optimize essential location-based services.

• Take ownership of and automate the entire Android CI/CD and release pipeline.

• Improve application performance by identifying and optimizing resource utilization.

• Promote quality engineering by advocating for effective testing methodologies.

• Collaborate with and mentor teams across various functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in native Android development.

• Proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose at an expert level.

• Expertise in location services, particularly with FusedLocationProviderClient.

• Advanced skills in performance tuning utilizing Android Studio Profiler.

• In-depth knowledge of asynchronous programming and data handling, including Kotlin Coroutines.

• Strong infrastructure and testing abilities, particularly in advanced Gradle configuration.

• Background in agile delivery methodologies.
