Senior Software Developer, Android Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and create high-performance, large-scale native Android applications

• Develop and sustain a highly scalable, multi-team modular architecture

• Engineer and enhance critical location-based services

• Take ownership of and automate the complete Android CI/CD and release pipeline

• Promote quality engineering by advocating for robust testing methodologies

• Collaborate with and mentor cross-functional teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in native Android development

• Proficient in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose at an expert level

• Expertise in location services utilizing FusedLocationProviderClient

• Advanced skills in performance tuning with Android Studio Profiler

• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and data manipulation, including Kotlin Coroutines

• Solid infrastructure and testing capabilities, encompassing advanced Gradle configuration

• Background in Agile delivery
