Senior Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain our infrastructure following industry best practices.

• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines.

• Implement enterprise-scale projects on AWS.

• Utilize cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes.

• Automate essential processes, including build, release, and monitoring (alerting and observability) for both infrastructure and products.

• Design and implement technical solutions that enhance speed and quality.

• Monitor system performance and resolve issues as they arise.

• Participate in the on-call rotation for application support.

• Collaborate effectively with team members and other personnel.

• Ensure that security and compliance standards are upheld.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Git, Linux, Bash, and Terraform is essential.

• Confidence in working with monitoring and alerting systems.

• Experience deploying complex software solutions within a cloud environment.

• Proficient with AWS or other cloud-based services.

• Solid understanding of software design patterns.

• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies.

• Highly analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex problems.

• Responsible, proactive, positive, and honest demeanor.

• Comfortable with both giving and receiving constructive feedback.

• Focused on the context of tasks and the overarching goal rather than merely fulfilling requirements.

• Engages with relevant stakeholders to gather input for project decisions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Experience with Helm, FluxCD, GitHub Actions, Ansible, and Datadog.

• Familiarity with supporting Java/Kotlin applications.

• Experience in developing within the Atlassian ecosystem.
