Senior Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Take charge of Infrastructure Security by designing, implementing, and enhancing security measures—including hardening, network segmentation, IAM, and endpoint security—across our entire fleet.

• Guide the technical strategy for cyber security defense, focusing on enterprise posture management, threat detection, and vulnerability management.

• Collaborate with ITOps, SysOps, DevOps, and XOps to integrate security into the foundation of our architecture and change management practices.

• Create and sustain our SIEM strategy along with the associated infrastructure to guarantee proactive visibility.

• Train and mentor engineering teams on secure system design, offering guidance that raises the security awareness of the entire organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience with GCP permissions and security configurations within Kubernetes, Azure, and on-premises environments.

• Strong expertise in Intrusion Detection, Exploit Development, Linux Operations, and Security Comprehension.

• Demonstrated ability to pinpoint deficiencies in cloud designs and suggest improvements for authentication, authorization, and bastion host configurations.

• Capability to translate complex security risks into actionable insights for both technical colleagues and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven history of overseeing large projects with intricate deliverables and anticipating potential challenges before they arise.
