This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create and implement secure architectural frameworks for AI/ML pipelines, large language models (LLMs), and automated decision-making systems.
• Perform security assessments and risk evaluations focused on AI-related vulnerabilities such as prompt injection, model inversion, and data poisoning.
• Establish and uphold AI-centric security standards and policies that encompass data provenance and model integrity.
• Offer AI security best-practice guidance to data science, DevOps, and business leadership teams.
• Assess and suggest emerging security technologies, including AI-driven SIEM, automated Red Teaming instruments, and privacy-enhancing solutions.
• Collaborate with legal teams to guarantee that AI implementations adhere to the EU AI Act, GDPR, and HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in security evaluations of third-party AI service providers and foundational model developers.
• Oversee security assessments for AI environments in accordance with ISO 42001 and SOC2 standards.
• Produce technical documentation and data flow diagrams that depict the movement of sensitive data through AI models.
• Guide junior security professionals and data scientists on matters of AI safety and security.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Security is mandatory; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in information security.
• At least 5 years of experience in security architecture.
• Extensive experience in securing large-scale data or AI environments.
• Profound knowledge of the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, and ISO 27001 standards.
• Expertise in designing secure AI architectures on AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices for AI, model monitoring, and defensive strategies against adversarial threats.
• Experience with IAM for automated agents and privacy-enhancing technologies like differential privacy and homomorphic encryption.
• Mastery of firewalls, IDPS, SIEM, and endpoint security within hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and Azure OpenAI/ChatGPT is a plus.
