This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Identify, assess, eliminate, and mitigate threats to Desjardins's systems, networks, and applications.
• Simulate threats by tracking the progression of offensive techniques and threat actors.
• Design, develop, and implement offensive methodologies and tools.
• Mitigate risks associated with the application of offensive methodologies and tools.
• Adhere to rigorous processes and create new ones to prepare the organization for potential cyberattacks.
• Lead and influence practitioners on development projects and complex strategic initiatives that span multiple sectors.
• Communicate risks in straightforward language and engage stakeholders to enhance Desjardins's security posture.
• Develop and propose strategic directions and business positions.
• Assist in the implementation of response plans.
• Oversee large-scale development projects, initiatives, and activities within the area of expertise.
• Provide advice to clients and partners on positioning, planning, development, execution, and monitoring of strategic projects and initiatives.
• Create and update policies, standards, models, methodologies, tools, and programs.
• Conduct strategic monitoring to detect emerging security issues.
• Identify, analyze, and report significant issues.
• Diagnose issues and offer recommendations to decision-making bodies.
• Represent the unit in front of senior management committees and decision-making bodies.
• Represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins, establishing agreements with external partners and organizations.
• Act as an expert advisor, subject matter expert, resource person, and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• A minimum of eight years of pertinent experience.
• Alternative combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
• Advanced proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English, both oral and written.
• Expertise in both offensive and defensive security.
• Capability to identify, analyze, eliminate, and mitigate cyber threats.
• Ability to design, develop, and implement offensive methodologies and tools.
• Proficient in leading large-scale, complex strategic projects and initiatives.
• Competent in advising clients, partners, senior management, and decision-making bodies.
• Skilled in developing policies, standards, models, methodologies, tools, and programs.
• Capable of conducting strategic monitoring and diagnosing emerging security issues.
• Proficient in representing and negotiating on behalf of Desjardins with external partners and organizations.
