Senior SAP SD – Tax Reform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary SAP SD consultant on projects, focusing on:

• o Adjustments to processes and systems in response to the Brazilian Tax Reform;

• o Review and reconfiguration of Order to Cash (O2C) processes to incorporate new tax models;

• o Understanding the fiscal, accounting, and operational effects on Sales, Billing, Tax, and Finance departments;

• Oversee blueprint activities, functional designs, validations, and integrated testing (including unit, integration, and UAT);

• Conduct configuration and customization of SAP SD, which includes:

• o Setting up order types, billing types, and pricing determination;

• o Tax determination processes (ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS, ISS, tax substitution, DIFAL, among others);

• o Integration and interfacing with external tax solutions (Sonda);

• Occasionally provide level 2/3 support;

• Create functional documentation, specifications, test evidence, and technical recommendations;

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as an SAP SD Consultant, with significant involvement in various projects;

• Demonstrated expertise in Brazilian localization, particularly in:

• o Sales and billing taxation;

• o Complex tax processes and scenarios specific to Brazil;

• Experience in highly tailored SAP environments;

• Strong skills in functional analysis, inter-module integration, and a deep understanding of fiscal and accounting implications;

• Highly Desirable Knowledge

• Prior experience within discrete manufacturing sectors;

• Hands-on experience with Tax Reform initiatives;

• o Familiarity with Sonda tax solutions (eDocs, Comply);

• Solid understanding of or practical experience in ABAP;
