Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia.

📋 Description

• Facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops and assist in the final solution design in alignment with SAP S/4HANA Cloud standards.

• Convert business needs into functional designs for Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billing, Pricing, Credit Management, and Output Control.

• Customize and configure SAP SD components while ensuring integration with FI, MM, and logistics modules.

• Take ownership of defining the functional scope, creating the backlog, and prioritizing tasks across various project phases.

• Identify discrepancies, suggest alternative solutions, and document high-level architecture, use cases, and cutover plans.

• Aid in test planning and execution, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system integration testing.

• Mentor junior and mid-level consultants, oversee deliverables, and promote team development.

• Work closely with development teams and technical leads to guarantee the feasibility and completeness of solutions.

• Participate in presales and RFI/RFP activities by providing estimates, solution demonstrations, and effort assessments.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and manage communication with stakeholders.

• Contribute to initiatives focused on continuous improvement and internal knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience with SAP SD, including several end-to-end implementations.

• Demonstrated expertise in S/4HANA SD configuration and process design.

• Comprehensive understanding of Order-to-Cash processes and their integrations with FI, MM, and logistics.

• Proficient in communicating both technical and functional concepts to IT and business stakeholders.

• Capability to lead workstreams and assist in scope estimation and project planning.

• Experience in Agile delivery along with a working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.

• Strong skills in documentation, training, and user support.

• SAP certification is preferred.

• Experience with SAP CS and PP is advantageous.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field is required.

• Proficient business-level English communication skills.

• Ability to independently manage time, priorities, and deliverables, as well as work effectively in teams.
