Senior SAP SD Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Overall responsibility for the functional and organizational aspects of SAP SD projects

• Leadership and management of SAP SD projects, including implementations, rollouts, optimizations, and S/4HANA transformations

• Accountability for project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, scheduling, and quality assurance

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, encompassing project management, IT, and business units

• Analyze, design, and enhance sales and billing processes within SAP SD

• Provide functional consulting and customization in SAP SD, covering areas such as Order-to-Cash, pricing, billing, and delivery processes

• Facilitate workshops, requirements analyses, and decision-making sessions

• Oversee developers and external service providers

• Manage risk, reporting, and escalation processes

• Support testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare phases

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a similar qualification

• Several years of experience as an SAP SD consultant

• Strong proficiency in SAP SD, including both ECC and S/4HANA

• Solid understanding of sales, delivery, and billing processes

• Experience in both traditional and agile project management methodologies

• Strong leadership, communication, and facilitation abilities

• Structured, independent, and solution-focused approach to work

• Customer-oriented with a willingness to travel for project commitments

• Proficient in German and possess good English language skills

• Preferred: experience in S/4HANA transformation projects, whether Greenfield or Brownfield

• Knowledge of Condition Contract Management (CCM)

• Familiarity with Advanced ATP (aATP)

• Understanding of related SAP modules, such as MM and EWM

• Certifications in SAP or project management, including SAP SD, SAP Activate, PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum

• Experience in leading project teams or subprojects

• Industry expertise in manufacturing, trade/retail, or logistics
