Senior SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Oversee configuration tasks within the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud FICO scope areas, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting.

• Facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops and document solution discrepancies in line with SAP Best Practices.

• Set up finance scope items utilizing Central Business Configuration (CBC).

• Aid in the execution of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes and financial closing tasks.

• Work closely with MM and SD teams to guarantee seamless process integration.

• Collaborate with technical teams responsible for data migration, integrations, and extensions.

• Engage in unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Assist with cutover planning, go-live execution, and hypercare stabilization phases.

• Help resolve incidents and address enhancement requests during production support as necessary.

• Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfers, and reusable delivery assets across multiple projects.

• Interact with global stakeholders across various distributed delivery environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of consulting experience in SAP FICO.

• At least 3 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA.

• A minimum of 2 full lifecycle implementations in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

• Extensive hands-on configuration experience in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting.

• Familiarity with SAP Best Practices and Fit-to-Standard delivery methodologies.

• Practical experience in configuring Public Cloud solutions using Central Business Configuration (CBC).

• Strong understanding of Record-to-Report processes and statutory financial requirements.

• Experience in supporting integration with MM and SD modules.

• Knowledge of Group Reporting, Lease Accounting, or Advanced Financial Closing is a plus.

• Experience with hypercare transitions and/or AMS environments is preferred.

• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification (with Public Cloud preferred).

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proficiency in English is essential.
