Senior SAP IS-U Consultant – Energy Data Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to clients in the energy sector on Energy Data Management (EDM) topics related to SAP IS‑U and SAP S/4HANA Utilities.

• Evaluate, standardize, and improve EDM-related processes.

• Assist in the transition from SAP IS‑U to SAP S/4HANA Utilities.

• Engage with current issues in the energy industry, including regulatory updates (MaBiS/GaBi).

• Develop requirements specifications, design solutions, lead implementation efforts, and facilitate workshops and training sessions.

• Play a key role in establishing the new EDM team by fostering knowledge development, defining frameworks, and setting standards.

• Assume responsibility for specialized topics and provide mentorship to colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree or vocational training in a commercial or technical discipline.

• Understanding of the business processes within energy utilities.

• 3–4 years of experience in configuring, implementing, and enhancing SAP IS‑U systems with a focus on Energy Data Management (EDM).

• Initial exposure to SAP S/4HANA Utilities is preferred.

• Basic understanding of IT project management and experience with an object-oriented programming language such as ABAP or Java.

• Proficiency in German at a high or native level and fluency in English.
