Senior SAP Functional Consultant – MM/SD/LE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assist in the execution of country-specific e-invoicing, VAT reporting, and localization requirements throughout the MEU and MEA regions.

• Configure and tailor SAP MM/SD/LE processes to align with local legal and business stipulations.

• Engage in design workshops to convert regional compliance necessities into functional specifications.

• Perform gap analysis between global SAP templates and local regulatory demands.

• Facilitate SAP ECC integrations with EDICOM and external governmental portals, preparing for the future transition to S/4HANA and SAP DRC solutions.

• Collaborate with business, tax/legal, and technical teams to guarantee compliant end-to-end logistics and sales operations.

• Assist in integrations with third-party logistics providers and external compliance platforms through EDI/IDoc technologies.

• Participate in Unit, Integration, and UAT testing efforts to ensure adherence to legal and technical standards.

• Support data migration initiatives while ensuring data integrity and audit compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP MM and SD modules.

• Experience in logistics and supply chain processes, covering purchasing, billing, shipping, deliveries, and inventory management.

• Participation in full-cycle SAP implementations and international rollout programs is essential.

• Understanding of VAT, e-invoicing, tax compliance, localization, or statutory reporting processes.

• Proven experience in translating legal or regulatory requirements into SAP functional solutions.

• Familiarity with SAP ECC environments and initiatives involving S/4HANA transformation.

• Knowledge of international e-invoicing and tax compliance frameworks within the MEU and MEA regions.

• Experience supporting regulatory or localization initiatives in countries like UAE, Qatar, Oman, France, Turkey, Israel, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, or other EU/MEA jurisdictions.

• Exposure to EU electronic reporting standards and VAT initiatives such as PEPPOL, KSeF, XRechnung, or ViDA is highly advantageous.

• Proficient English communication skills.
