Senior SAP Functional Consultant – Basis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the management of certificates and PGP keys, with a focus on proactive measures.

• Scheduling and managing jobs, administering the transport landscape, overseeing SAP systems and RFC connections, and providing SAP support, including the establishment of system connections.

• Addressing SAP incidents (Basis), requesting and managing technical user accounts, and handling exception/emergency procedures.

• If applicable, managing the Web Dispatcher and Cloud Connector, ensuring SAP email delivery, and overseeing system/profile parameters.

• If applicable, managing SAP printers and assisting with SAP license measurement.

• Issuing developer and object keys.

• Providing support for SAP application clients.

• Serving as the primary contact for inquiries related to SAP systems.

• Acting as a liaison with SAP operations.

• Managing, configuring, monitoring, reporting on, and administering SAP Cloud (BTP).

• Updating and installing third-party SAP add-ons.

• Managing transport and change management processes.

• Administering SAP clients, including lifecycle management, maintaining SAP installation files and configuration data, conducting testing, coordinating module tests, supporting rollouts, single sign-on (SSO), and managing dependencies.

• Developing and implementing quality assurance measures and keeping documentation current.

• Supporting provider management for the SAP data center service provider and monitoring compliance with service level agreements (SLA).

⛳️ Requirements

• SAP Certified Consultant – SAP S/4HANA System Administration (certified).

• Extensive experience in SAP Basis configuration and a broad technical skill set, including S/4HANA.

• Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux and Windows.

• Understanding of ITSM processes aligned with ITIL standards.

• Knowledge of DevOps processes.

• Proficient in managing SAP authorizations.
