Senior SAP FICO Consultant, FICO, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the analysis and design of comprehensive SAP FI/CO solutions that are aligned with business objectives.

• Convert intricate finance requirements into precise and high-quality functional specifications.

• Configure and enhance SAP FI (including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Banking, and Tax) and CO (covering Cost Centres, Profit Centres, and Internal Orders).

• Ensure effective integration between SAP modules and third-party systems.

• Contribute to project planning, estimation, and the successful execution of SAP initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes through automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled features.

• Utilize finance innovations to modernize and streamline processes.

• Advocate for scalable, maintainable, and future-ready solutions that adhere to architectural and governance standards.

• Actively promote continuous improvement across the SAP Finance landscape.

• Conduct design workshops and serve as a trusted advisor to finance stakeholders.

• Lead or participate in SAP workstreams related to upgrades, rollouts, integrations, and transformation projects.

• Oversee System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and post-go-live support activities.

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external AMS partners.

• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the capability development within the SAP team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO within complex, integrated SAP environments.

• A proven history of delivering full lifecycle SAP projects, including rollouts, upgrades, migrations, or transformations.

• Strong configuration skills across SAP FI and CO modules.

• Experience working within integrated SAP landscapes and interfacing with external systems.

• Capability to drive process optimization, automation, and intelligent enhancements.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with AI-driven finance capabilities (Preferred).

• Integration experience with SAP SD, MM, or procurement processes (Preferred).

• SAP certification(s) and/or a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) (Preferred).
