Senior SAP CPI DS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collects requirements from business and functional teams to provide solutions that address the identified needs.

• Analyzes business and functional requirements and creates documentation for technical specifications.

• Capable of handling both custom integrations and standard integration packages.

• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Connector and CPI cockpit is essential.

• Experience in Java and Groovy scripting is required.

• Knowledge of SAP CPI support activities is necessary.

• Ability to conduct root cause analysis for recurring or critical issues and suggest appropriate solutions.

• Conducts Unit, System, and Integration testing during different phases of the project lifecycle and documents the outcomes of the testing process.

• Responsible for decision-making, process optimization, resource management, and team oversight as needed for task execution.

• Accountable for assigning personnel, supervising team members, delegating tasks, ensuring the team has the necessary tools and support to thrive in their roles, and optimizing and assessing their performance to achieve organizational objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent professional experience.

• Approximately 3-7 years of experience in a development position.

• Demonstrated progression through increasingly complex job responsibilities over time.

• Familiarity with business process orchestration products such as Hana Cloud Integration (HCI), Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), Dell Boomi, and SAP Process Integration (PI) / Process Orchestration (PO).

• Experience in delivering projects for clients, including requirement analysis, system landscape evaluation, technical design, and interface development.

• Proven ability to create Integration Strategies for clients with both on-premise and cloud application systems (like SuccessFactors, Ariba, etc.), with expertise in data architecture, governance, and pre-packaged cloud integration.

• Exposure to various business scenarios (A2A and B2B) and experience working with all major adapters such as SFTP, SOAP, REST, IDOC, ODATA, JDBC, and SuccessFactors.

• Understanding of security concepts such as SSL and PGP encryptions.

• Experience with Groovy scripts is preferred.

• Ideally, possess knowledge of integration best practices.

• Strong business communication skills are essential.

• Proven leadership abilities are required.

• SAP certification is an advantage.
