Senior SAP Consolidation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Set up and oversee SAP EC-CS or SEM-BCS for both legal and management consolidation.

• Implement and assess intercompany (IC) eliminations: including revenues/expenses, AP/AR balances, and intercompany profit in inventory (ICS).

• Configure investment eliminations and adjustments for the equity method.

• Guarantee currency conversion to the group currency and maintain the integrity of the closing process.

• Gather requirements, develop BBP (Blueprint), WRICEF specifications, and perform testing (Unit Tests, Integration Tests, UAT).

• Assist external auditors and Controllership teams in validating financial statements.

• Record configurations and processes to ensure traceability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient technical knowledge in SAP: FI-AP / FI-AR (IC reconciliation).

• Understanding of FI-AA (valuation areas).

• Experience with CO-PA / CO-CCA.

• Knowledge of FI-SL (Special Purpose Ledger).

• Competence in BW (data extraction for consolidation).

• Familiarity with ABAP (code reading).

• Awareness of accounting standards: IFRS 10 / CPC 36 – Consolidated financial statements.

• IFRS 3 / CPC 15 – Business combinations.

• IAS 21 / CPC 02 – Foreign currency translation.

• IAS 28 / CPC 18 – Equity method (investments in associates/joint ventures).

• BR GAAP / NBC TG – Regulations for publicly listed companies in Brazil.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.

• At least 5 years of experience in SAP FI/CO.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in consolidation.

• Involvement in at least 2 complete EC-CS / SEM-BCS projects.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.

• Postgraduate degree in Controllership or IFRS.
