Senior SAP Basis Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Ensure the smooth operation of the system, including error analysis, maintenance, and the implementation of system updates for customer systems.

• Execute standard basic projects like release upgrades for both ABAP and Java, and manage the projects as needed.

• Oversee the technology planning for SAP HANA and facilitate the HANA migration process.

• Provide support to customers as 2nd and 3rd level assistance in troubleshooting and performance services.

• Assist in presales activities targeting new customers within the scope of platform services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English (B2 level).

• Openness to working occasional nights or weekends.

• Experience in setting up and managing SAP systems, including upgrades, patches, and database upgrades for both ABAP and Java systems.

• Practical experience with SAP Rise and SAP BTP.

• Strong knowledge of at least two common SAP databases, such as HANA, Oracle, DB2, etc.

• Completed university education in business informatics, computer science, or equivalent qualifications and/or several years of relevant professional experience.
