Senior SAP ABAP Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in global SAP transformation projects and aid in the creation of scalable, high-quality SAP solutions within modern S/4HANA environments.

• Design, create, and sustain SAP ABAP solutions in S/4HANA landscapes.

• Develop scalable and efficient custom solutions adhering to ABAP 7.4+ coding standards and SAP Clean Core principles.

• Construct and enhance solutions utilizing RAP, CDS Views, OData services, APIs, and SAP BTP technologies.

• Execute code optimization and performance tuning on SAP HANA databases.

• Work collaboratively with functional teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Engage in technical design discussions, testing, deployments, and support activities.

• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior consultants within agile project settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

• Strong proficiency in ABAP 7.4+ syntax and development standards.

• Practical experience with SAP HANA optimized development, CDS Views, RAP framework, AMDP, and OData services.

• Experience in developing solutions utilizing SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

• Comprehensive understanding of the SAP Clean Core concept and extensibility strategies.

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.

• Proficiency in performance optimization and SQL tuning on HANA.

• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies and APIs.

• Familiarity with object-oriented ABAP programming.

• Experience with Git/version control and transport management processes.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.

• Ability to work independently in international project environments.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficiency in English.
