This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Take ownership of the transition from research findings to production-ready artifacts.
• Develop and sustain STRIKE platform components across various services and runtimes.
• Transform research into deployed detection content.
• Propel the adoption of STIX 2.1 as a unified output schema and TAXII 2.1 as a standard for distribution.
• Create automation systems that eliminate common overheads from research activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, measurement, and platform product teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in a hands-on engineering position with significant exposure to threat intelligence, security research, or detection engineering.
• Previous experience in building production systems that either utilize or provide threat intelligence data.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript/Node at a production level.
• Experience with relational and cache data stores, as well as at least one streaming or batch data platform.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of STIX 2.1, TAXII 2.1, MISP, and MITRE ATT&CK.
