Senior Regional Manager – Data Centers, Power Stability Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for achieving or surpassing a defined operational plan.

• Formulate and implement a commercial strategy for the sales of stability solutions tailored for data centers in the North American Market, which includes BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), EMS (Energy Management Systems), and Medium Voltage UPS.

• Oversee precise forecasting of orders and convertible orders for your designated account package, updating this information in Salesforce.com.

• Maintain daily relationships and provide transactional support.

• Collaborate with selected GE Vernova business sales teams across the region to execute joint account strategies and secure synergy orders.

• Create and implement a comprehensive growth strategy with integrated initiatives for GE across the region.

• Cultivate strategic customer relationships with key decision-makers, supporting the sales team’s strategic objectives, including power developers, data center developers, independent power producers, and co-locators.

• Propel the identification, prospecting, and development of new sales opportunities.

• Assist your customers in their sales activities and aid them in discovering new opportunities.

• Coordinate efforts and lead the establishment of individual sales strategies, securing necessary approvals for pricing and delivery.

• Negotiate contracts as necessary.

• Stay informed about market trends, competitive actions, product requirements, and customer demographics.

• Collaborate with Marketing to devise project-specific sales strategies for assigned customers.

• Provide insights to the leadership team to foster ongoing growth.

• Manage expenses within a specified budget.

• Oversee accounts in the region; responsible for nurturing relationships at all organizational levels, developing and monitoring growth plans, marketing programs, and training initiatives.

• Manage, sustain, and expand accounts in the region to meet quarterly and yearly targets.

• Ensure that GE-generated leads are pursued and converted into orders.

• Uphold global compliance standards and work alongside the compliance manager to conduct due diligence activities.

• Share market feedback, competitive intelligence, and hit-rate data with business and sales leadership.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field from an accredited university or college.

• At least 6 years of experience in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering, or Technical Engineering.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the Developer and Utilities Markets.

• Familiarity with Data Center Markets and Portfolios.

• Capability and willingness to hold and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

• Readiness to travel across North America 50% of the time.
