Director of Data Science, Credit Risk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a data science team and manage cross-functional initiatives.

• Drive innovation and enhancement of machine learning models.

• Collaborate with business leaders and technical specialists throughout the organization.

• Create new data sources and refine our modeling practices.

• Implement models while maintaining effective risk management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possesses a PhD in a quantitative discipline with over 5 years of experience in a relevant leadership position.

• Holds a BS / MS in a quantitative field and has more than 8 years of experience in a similar leadership role.

• Experienced in applying data science within credit risk management.

• Capable of developing team members' skills.

• Holds a comprehensive understanding of the data science domain.

• Experienced in creating, deploying, and overseeing experiments and models within production environments.

• Adheres to strong software engineering principles (test-driven development, code reviews, refactoring) and is familiar with the PyData stack (numpy, scikit-learn, pandas, etc.).
