Senior React, Capacitor Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain cross-platform mobile applications utilizing React and Capacitor.

• Spearhead the transition from Angular/Ionic to a contemporary React-based framework.

• Create and execute high-quality, user-centric interfaces.

• Build API integrations and features connected to backend systems.

• Oversee the complete app release process, which includes:

• Publishing applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

• Managing provisioning, signing, and deployment workflows.

• Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability, especially during peak usage times and high-traffic events.

• Address production issues, including resolving edge cases that arise at scale (e.g., concurrency, race conditions).

• Contribute to the secure management of sensitive data and payment processes.

• Make practical architectural choices and propel delivery forward.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust experience with TypeScript and React.

• Practical experience in developing and deploying applications using Capacitor (this is a strict requirement; alternatives like React Native are not applicable).

• Demonstrated experience in publishing mobile applications to app stores (iOS and Android).

• Strong comprehension of:

• The mobile app lifecycle, associated permissions, and platform limitations.

• The app store submission and release procedures.

• Familiarity with:

• REST APIs and third-party integrations.

• Secure data handling and authentication processes.

• Capability to work autonomously for 1–2 days without supervision, effectively prioritizing tasks and maintaining progress.

• Experience in addressing real-world scaling challenges, including:

• High throughput systems.

• Traffic surges and performance bottlenecks.

• Reliability within production environments.
