Senior React, Capacitor Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain cross-platform mobile applications utilizing React + Capacitor

• Spearhead the transition from Angular/Ionic to a contemporary React-based architecture

• Create and execute high-quality, user-centered interfaces

• Build API integrations and features connected to the backend

• Oversee the complete app release process, which includes:

• - Publishing to the Apple App Store and Google Play

• - Managing provisioning, signing, and deployment workflows

• Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability, especially during peak traffic and usage events

• Address production issues, including diagnosing edge cases that arise at scale (e.g., concurrency, race conditions)

• Contribute to the secure management of sensitive data and payment processes

• Make practical architectural decisions and propel delivery forward

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with TypeScript and React

• Proficient in building and launching applications using Capacitor (this is a strict requirement; alternatives like React Native are not acceptable)

• Demonstrated experience in publishing mobile applications to app stores (iOS and Android)

• Strong comprehension of:

• - Mobile app lifecycle, permissions, and platform limitations

• - App store submission and release protocols

• Experience with:

• - REST APIs and third-party integrations

• - Authentication and secure data management

• Capability to work autonomously for 1–2 days without supervision, prioritizing tasks and ensuring progress

• Experience tackling real-world scale challenges, such as:

• - High throughput systems

• - Traffic surges and performance bottlenecks

• - Reliability in production settings
