Senior Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the execution of software development initiatives, ensuring compliance with best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment, with an emphasis on delivering scalable and resilient solutions.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to maintain a cohesive and integrated approach to development projects.

• Engage in continuous improvement processes, including code reviews, performance assessments, and feedback mechanisms to enhance the overall development lifecycle.

• Employ agile development methodologies, fostering adaptive planning, progressive development, and early value delivery. Work alongside cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve overall project efficiency.

• Collaborate with team members to create an environment that promotes continuous learning and professional development. Inspire a commitment to quality code, creativity, and problem-solving within the development team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Extensive experience with Python.

• Proficient knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.

• Experience in designing and implementing backends and APIs with a strong emphasis on functionality, security, stability, and efficiency.

• Solid understanding of Microservices and Micro-frontends, particularly with Docker.

• Significant experience with various databases (e.g., MySQL, Postgres, NoSQL).

• Familiarity with working in a Unix environment.

• Proficiency in code versioning tools, specifically Git.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Quick adaptability to new programming languages.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and general DevOps practices.
