Senior Proposal Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete development and submission process for RFPs, RFIs, and client-facing proposal materials related to Accredo Specialty Pharmacy and CuraScript Specialty Distribution opportunities.

• Facilitate discussions on proposal strategy with cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership.

• Identify risks, opportunities, and winning strategies that support specialty pharmaceutical products, services, and manufacturer programs.

• Create, write, edit, customize, and ensure the quality of proposal responses.

• Conduct research and collaborate with subject matter experts to generate accurate, compliant, and compelling content.

• Manage pricing-related components of proposals across various deliverables.

• Ensure adherence to client requirements, internal policies, and approval processes.

• Maintain and enhance libraries of proposal content and response databases.

• Lead cross-functional projects, process improvements, and departmental initiatives.

• Support best practices, standard operating procedures, governance processes, and quality standards.

• Utilize proposal management technologies and AI-enabled tools effectively.

• Mentor, train, and assist team members while promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal writing, sales support, business development support, or a related area.

• Proven experience in leading complex RFP, RFI, and proposal responses from strategy formulation to submission.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities.

• Proficiency in developing proposal content with minimal direction.

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of specialty pharmacy, specialty distribution, pharmaceutical manufacturer services, healthcare, or related industries is preferred.

• Capability to manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and operate independently with little guidance.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

• Ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Skills to build and maintain cross-functional relationships and influence outcomes without direct authority.

• Demonstrated project management capabilities and the ability to handle multiple concurrent deadlines.

• Strong analytical, research, and content development skills.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dedicated to quality and accuracy.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, collaboration tools, and proposal/content management systems.

• Reliable home internet connection, if working remotely, via cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
