Senior Project Architect – Sports & Entertainment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• In the role of Project Architect, you will spearhead a team of architects and designers to execute sports and entertainment projects.

• Guide client initiatives from initial concept through to construction.

• Collaborate with Design Directors and the Practice Area Leader on thrilling sports developments.

• Create technical documentation and relay project updates to ensure successful outcomes.

• Oversee communication and coordinate efforts among the project team, clients, vendors, contractors, and consultants.

• Tackle complex technical and design challenges with the team to develop innovative, practical, and constructible solutions.

• Supervise the generation of drawings, specifications, and construction administration duties.

• Accountable for delivering documents that reflect design intent and exceptional technical quality.

• Manage submittals and substitution requests during the construction phase and respond to RFIs.

• Engage with building and permitting officials throughout the permitting and construction processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be an Australian Registered Architect.

• At least 12 years of pertinent experience in delivering sports stadiums, training facilities, and entertainment venues.

• Strong comprehension of local and national building codes.

• Proven track record in successfully delivering sports and related projects from conceptual design to construction completion.

• Proficient in Revit, 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software.

• Familiarity with the entire project lifecycle and design process, extending through post-occupancy.

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently at various stages of development.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with management capabilities that encompass leadership, organization, and client relationship management.

• A well-rounded strategic thinker with a holistic approach to design, management, and technical project resolution, capable of influencing a vision for the future.
