Senior Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design and expand backend services utilizing TypeScript / Node.js

• Support and enhance components of the current PHP/Laravel application

• Create product features and internal tools leveraging React

• Take ownership of projects from discovery through design, implementation, and rollout to ongoing iteration

• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and stakeholders to address customer and business challenges

• Enhance microservices architecture while ensuring integration with existing systems

• Assist in evolving a product landscape where the monolith coexists with newer services

• Boost platform reliability, scalability, and engineering efficiency

• Contribute to technical decisions, architectural design, and coding standards

• Help define the process for building products in a dynamic environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in software engineering

• Strong professional experience with TypeScript and Node.js

• Experience managing features or projects from start to finish in a product-focused setting

• Strong product-oriented mindset with the capability to grasp user needs and business objectives

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred but not required)

• Ability to balance speed, quality, and practical delivery

• Comfort in navigating both legacy systems and modern architectures

• Experience with PHP, particularly Laravel (preferred but not required)

• Frontend development expertise with React (preferred but not required)

• You are inquisitive, proactive, self-motivated, and enjoy tackling complex problems

• Located in Europe with the legal right to work in your country of residence.
