This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Enhance and sustain current software development pipelines while extending them to incorporate automated deployment and testing (CI/CD).
• Actively investigate new CI/CD solutions, tools (DevSecOps platform), and capabilities, and formulate migration plans for successful adoption.
• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., software and integration & test) to identify bottlenecks, automate testing, enhance efficiency, and boost software security.
• Standardize, document, and train team members on DevOps processes.
• Assist the IT department in the administration and upkeep of tools to ensure adherence to security requirements.
• Provision new projects, software source code, configuration repositories, and user access, with up to 25% travel to the Fulton site for meetings and customer engagements.
• Proven experience with automated software build, test, and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with implementing a DevSecOps platform such as GitLab.
• Proficient with CI/CD Pipeline tools including Maven, Make, Git, Docker, Buildkit, Artifactory, Sonatype, and Jenkins.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Scripting proficiency in a Linux environment (e.g., Perl, Python, Bash).
• Experience in supporting software solutions within virtualized environments (e.g., VMWare, Containers).
• Ability to investigate, address, and resolve security concerns in third-party software, Docker images, and development environments.
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 7 years of experience.
• The capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is mandatory. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
