This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Lead the technical discovery process to identify strategic opportunities. Align business objectives with measurable technical success criteria and develop an evaluation plan.
• Design, scope, and implement Proofs of Concept (POCs) that demonstrate value. Establish datasets, metrics, and timelines that result in a clear technical achievement.
• Develop lightweight prototypes, sample integrations, and demonstrations utilizing Deepgram SDKs and APIs.
• Provide architectural guidance focusing on accuracy, latency, scalability, and cost considerations. Address cloud, self-hosted, hybrid, and data residency requirements.
• Manage security and compliance initiatives relevant to the APAC region. Prepare concise responses for Singapore PDPA, Japan APPI, Korea PIPA, Australia’s Privacy Act, and India’s DPDP Act.
• Diagnose and resolve issues during evaluations. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to swiftly remove obstacles for customers.
• Develop reusable assets that can scale. Transform frequent requests into functioning samples, reference architectures, runbooks, and field guides.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Support for uninterrupted continuity after initial successes. Remain engaged during expansion phases as necessary.
• Empower field teams. Work alongside AEs, CSMs, and partners on positioning, demonstrations, and technical validation for priority use cases.
• A minimum of 5 years in Solutions Engineering or a comparable customer-facing technical role with a focus on pre-sales.
• Professional software engineering experience in at least one language, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Rust. Capable of developing POCs and tools for real user applications.
• Practical experience with contemporary cloud platforms. Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, networking fundamentals, and secure API design.
• Proven success in leading POCs for enterprise clients and achieving technical victories.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills that resonate with both technical and executive audiences.
• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of additional Asian languages is a significant advantage, particularly Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, or Hindi.
• Understanding of procurement, InfoSec, and data privacy requirements across the APAC region.
• Willingness to travel within the region for key customer milestones, with an estimated travel requirement of 10 to 20 percent.
