Senior PL/SQL Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and optimize stored procedures utilized in analytical processes and data integrations for BI systems.

• Create high-performance SQL queries to facilitate reports, KPIs, and management dashboards.

• Implement and uphold ETL processes along with data loading routines.

• Collaborate with BI and business teams to comprehend requirements and deliver data that supports decision-making, analyze scenarios, and propose technical solutions.

• Investigate and resolve issues related to query and database process performance.

• Ensure the quality, integrity, and consistency of information available in analytical environments.

• Support the evolution, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of database routines associated with the BI environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• UNIVERSITY DEGREE — COMPLETED

• SQL Server: Strong expertise in administration and development on the Microsoft SQL Server platform, along with proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

• Advanced T-SQL: Skilled in developing and optimizing complex queries, including data manipulation using SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE.

• Stored Procedures and Functions: Experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing stored procedures, as well as scalar and table-valued functions for analytical processes and data integration.

• Data Modeling: Familiarity with dimensional modeling for BI and Data Warehouse environments, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.

• ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Experience with extraction, transformation, and loading processes, ensuring data integrity, performance, and reliability.

• Data and File Handling: Proficient in importing, exporting, and processing CSV, XLS, TXT, and other file formats utilized in data integrations.

• Performance and Tuning: Knowledge of database performance optimization techniques, including execution plan analysis, index creation, partitioning, and query tuning.

• Business Intelligence (BI): Conceptual understanding of BI architectures, dashboards, and analytical processes.

• Versioning and Best Practices: Experience in technical documentation, code standardization, and SQL development best practices.

• Interface with Business and BI: Capability to collaborate with users and BI teams to gather requirements, understand analytical needs, and provide data that supports decision-making.

• Communication and Solution Proposals: Strong interpersonal communication skills, with ease in interacting with users and the ability to analyze scenarios and propose technical solutions aligned with business requirements.

• Consultative and Analytical Profile: Proactive in identifying enhancements in processes, data structures, and BI routines, ensuring the quality and efficiency of the information provided.
