Senior Platform Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Define and enhance infrastructure architecture on GCP and AWS.

• Drive platform technical decisions including IaC, GitOps, observability, and infrastructure security.

• Design and sustain complex CI/CD pipelines, focusing on deployment strategies and environment management.

• Implement and promote GitOps practices in various contexts such as multi-cluster and multi-environment.

• Establish the team’s observability strategy encompassing SLOs, SLIs, alerting, and dashboards.

• Execute structured root cause analyses (RCAs) for production incidents.

• Recognize and mitigate infrastructure security risks, thereby decreasing the development team’s reliance in this area.

• Mentor mid-level engineers and facilitate the technical development of the team.

• Convert technical challenges into business impacts for non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with advanced GCP features such as GKE (Autopilot/Standard), Conditional IAM, Org Policies, advanced VPC, Private Service Connect, and Cloud Armor.

• Proficient in advanced Terraform including designing reusable modules, workspaces, IaC pipelines, and drift management.

• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes: HPA, VPA, PodDisruptionBudget, RBAC, Network Policies, and Workload Identity.

• Expertise in architecting complex CI/CD pipelines with reusable workflows, rollout strategies, and secrets management.

• In-depth understanding of advanced GitOps practices like multi-cluster management, synchronization strategies, progressive delivery, and environment management across various tools.

• Comprehensive knowledge of observability architecture involving SLOs/SLIs, strategic alerting, and catering to multiple audiences in a stack-agnostic manner.

• Strong grasp of infrastructure security practices such as IAM hardening, secret rotation, CVE analysis, Workload Identity, and Binary Authorization or their equivalents.

• Proven ability to conduct RCAs and troubleshoot in high-criticality production environments.

• Demonstrated ownership mentality—approaching infrastructure as a product rather than merely reactive support.

• Capability to influence technical decisions beyond the immediate team.

• Technical leadership experience: conducting tech reviews, mentoring peers, and defining standards.

• Systemic thinking skills: identifying dependencies and mapping risks before they escalate into incidents.

• Strong communication skills with managers and non-technical stakeholders.
