Senior PHP Engineer, Database Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of web applications utilizing PHP and associated technologies.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with client requirements and adhere to industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in PHP development.

• Strong knowledge of database systems.

• Significant experience handling large data volumes.

• Proficient in crafting complex and optimized SQL queries.

• Strong familiarity with modern PHP versions.

• Experience with relational databases (SingleStore/MemSQL is a plus).

• Experience in maintaining applications on Linux platforms within cloud environments.

• Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies in a professional context.

• Proven experience in technical troubleshooting.

• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team, including collaborating with teams across different time zones.

• **Preferred Qualifications:**

• Experience with vulnerability scanning technologies across any part of the tech stack (e.g., SCA, SAST, DAST, IAST, VM scanning, container, etc.).

• Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably AWS.

• Experience in data analytics and/or data science.
