Senior Pega Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Create software solutions utilizing the Pega platform to enhance a large-scale IT system and deliver high-quality outcomes within designated sprint timelines.

• Accomplish Pega development tasks and stories during each sprint.

• Collaborate with solution architects and Business Analysts to ensure compliance with architectural standards and design specifications.

• Mentor junior developers through training sessions, code reviews, and guidance.

• Facilitate continuous integration efforts by developing code/scripts, establishing CI/CD pipelines, and managing deployment infrastructure.

• Conduct testing, debugging, and application performance monitoring utilizing Pega’s integrated tools.

• Ensure adherence to governmental regulations, privacy policies, and 508 accessibility standards while preserving secure UI code.

• Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as necessary to support team goals and drive project success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree in an Engineering discipline or a related field.

• A minimum of 7 years of practical experience in Pega PRPC v7.x/v8.x application development.

• At least 3 years of experience in Java development.

• Strong skills in object-oriented analysis and troubleshooting.

• Expertise that exceeds the Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) level; Lead System Architect (LSA) certification is highly preferred.

• In-depth understanding of Pega architecture, Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO), and integrations involving REST/SOAP APIs.

• Demonstrated ability in designing process-oriented solutions and working with Pega rules such as Flows, Activities, and Connectors.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders and articulating complex technical solutions effectively.
