This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Guide partners throughout the entire sales process.
• Act as a technical advocate, assisting partners in adopting our products and services.
• Showcase the value of our solutions to facilitate sales closures.
• Collaborate with partners to enhance new customer acquisition.
• Empower partners to effectively market, sell, implement, and support Akamai solutions independently.
• Organize training and enablement workshops for partners' sales, pre-sales, and architect teams.
• Develop a tailored enablement plan that aligns with both Akamai's and the partner's sales strategies.
• Work alongside the Channel Sales team to oversee partner progress and success regarding the enablement plan.
• Hold feedback sessions with local presales to identify the challenges faced by partner personnel in current opportunities.
• Engage in partner quarterly business reviews to gain insights and feedback from the partner.
• Advocate for partner needs with product, marketing, and services teams to ensure their success.
• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Have 7 years of experience in a customer/partner-facing role, such as technical pre-sales, account/project management, or consulting.
• Require 7+ years of experience in Internet Technologies including HTTP, DNS, and SSL.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of security measures, including WAAP (WAF), DDoS, Firewall, and VPN.
• Have a solid understanding of and experience with a channel go-to-market strategy.
• Possess a good understanding of Cloud Security, CDN architecture, solutions, and products.
