Senior Partner Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical sales process for strategic partnerships by conducting discovery sessions, providing customized API-centric product demonstrations, and developing robust integration solutions.

• Define, organize, and lead the execution of technical proof-of-concept (POC) projects, serving as the technical lead on partner calls and initiatives.

• Function as the primary technical consultant for partners, assisting in the resolution of critical integration challenges and offering expert advice in scoping, planning, and implementation to guarantee successful adoption and sustainable success.

• Create and maintain an extensive repository of technical enablement materials, including implementation guides, best practice documentation, and technical readmes for both partners and internal teams.

• Design and enhance scalable resources, such as the open-source "Remote API Demo" application, to boost partner engagement and optimize the sales process.

• Act as a subject matter authority on Remote’s API and integration capabilities, providing internal training and serving as an onboarding mentor to elevate the collective knowledge of the Solutions Architect team.

• Serve as a crucial technical link among partners, sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure close alignment on the Remote Embedded product roadmaps and technical deliverables.

• Convert partner and customer needs into comprehensive product and business requirements, identifying product deficiencies and advocating for enhancements based on market insights.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the Solutions Architect function by refining processes, introducing new tools, and offering strategic advice on team development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with API architectures, including the capability to assess and design integrations using REST and SOAP according to business and technical specifications.

• Proficiency in real-time communication patterns, with an understanding of when to apply Webhooks versus WebSockets for scalable partner integrations.

• Knowledge of contemporary authentication and authorization frameworks, including OAuth 2.0 grant types (Authorization Code, PKCE, Client Credentials, etc.) and best practices for secure API access.

• Demonstrated ability in rapid prototyping, technical troubleshooting, and managing complex integration projects from discovery to launch.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in producing high-quality technical documentation, training materials, and enablement resources.

• Proficient with modern sales and development tools, including Salesforce and generative AI platforms for accelerating content creation, code review, and analysis.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• While experience in remote work is not a requirement, it is considered advantageous.
