This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take charge of the daily operations and performance of Paid Search campaigns for Koodo and Public, ensuring they align with overarching marketing and business objectives.
• Design and implement strategic Paid Search campaigns that enhance performance, efficiency, and growth across various portfolios.
• Track, evaluate, and refine campaign performance utilizing platforms such as Google Ads, Search Ads 360, and analytics tools to enhance KPIs like ROAS, CPA, CTR, and conversion volume.
• Create and deliver regular performance reports and insights to internal stakeholders and external partners, emphasizing actionable recommendations.
• Oversee budget distribution and pacing across campaigns to ensure optimal spending and accurate forecasting.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including digital primes, creative, and analytics teams, to synchronize campaign strategies with broader marketing initiatives.
• Discover and test new growth opportunities, features, and beta programs within Paid Search platforms while maintaining a proactive mindset.
• Lead keyword research, audience targeting, ad copy creation, and bid strategy execution, ensuring high-quality campaign management.
• Provide both strategic and tactical support to the Paid Search team as necessary, particularly during peak demand periods or special projects.
• Over 5 years of direct experience managing Paid Search campaigns, with a proven record of success in Google Ads.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple large-scale accounts or portfolios, preferably in an agency or multi-client setting.
• Excellent analytical abilities with experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Excel/Google Sheets, and platform-specific reporting dashboards.
• Comprehensive understanding of search engine marketing principles, including bidding strategies, match types, audience targeting, conversion tracking, and attribution models.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Highly organized and detail-focused, possessing strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize across various deadlines and portfolios.
• Creative thinker with a commitment to developing and executing strategies that yield results.
• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement through the analysis of business challenges.
• Enthusiasm for creative marketing trends, with a proven ability to execute campaigns based on consumer insights that receive recognition.
• Natural collaborator with strong relationship-building abilities, capable of aligning internal and external partners around common goals.
• Nice to have: Strong grasp of SEO best practices and the relationship between paid and organic search.
• Experience with paid social media advertising platforms (e.g., Meta/Facebook/Instagram ads).
• Familiarity with cross-channel attribution, conversion modeling, or setting up complex tracking (e.g., Conversions API, server-side tracking, Google Ads Data Hub).
• Experience with the creative development process, either client-side or agency-side.
• Background in working with or leading other digital media channels (omni-channel campaigns).
• Experience launching and working with Google’s demand generation and Pmax platforms.
• Project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
• Proficiency in G Suite and/or MS Office applications.
