This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Identify, assess, eliminate, and minimize threats to Desjardins's systems, networks, and applications.
• Simulate threats based on the ongoing advancement of offensive techniques and threat actors.
• Design, develop, and implement offensive methodologies and tools while mitigating associated risks.
• Adhere to strict processes and create new ones to equip the organization for potential cyberattacks.
• Guide practitioners on development projects and complex, strategic initiatives.
• Articulate risks in straightforward language and engage stakeholders to bolster Desjardins's security posture.
• Oversee large-scale development projects, initiatives, and activities that have organization-wide repercussions.
• Counsel clients and partners on positioning, planning, development, solution selection, execution, and monitoring of strategic projects and initiatives.
• Create and update policies, standards, models, methodologies, tools, and programs.
• Conduct strategic monitoring to spot emerging security challenges.
• Identify and assess significant issues, diagnose them, and provide recommendations to decision-making entities.
• Analyze, map, and articulate threats to inform testing activities.
• Represent the unit before decision-making entities.
• Represent Desjardins in agreements with external partners and organizations.
• Act as a specialist advisor, subject matter expert, resource person, and coach for decision-making bodies.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least six years of pertinent experience.
• Alternative combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be evaluated.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in French.
• Proficiency in both offensive and defensive security.
• Capability to identify, analyze, eradicate, and mitigate cyber threats.
• Familiarity with offensive techniques and threat actors.
• Ability to design, develop, and implement offensive methodologies and tools.
• Competence in developing security policies, standards, models, methodologies, tools, and programs.
• Skill in analyzing, mapping, and explaining threats.
• Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in strategic monitoring, issue diagnosis, and recommendation.
