Senior Non-Clinical Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Reviewing and refining a diverse array of scientific documents, such as clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, publications, and presentations, while ensuring compliance with quality standards and consistency

• Working collaboratively with medical writers to enhance the clarity and effectiveness of scientific content, offering guidance on structure, style, and language

• Ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory standards, guidelines, and best practices in medical writing and publishing

• Mentoring and training junior editors and medical writers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in scientific communication

• Performing comprehensive fact-checking and data verification to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of published materials

• Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulatory updates, and advancements in medical writing and editing methodologies

• Contributing to the creation and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) concerning document editing and quality control

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or a communications-related field

• Significant experience in medical editing, with a robust understanding of clinical research and regulatory documentation

• Outstanding editing and proofreading abilities, with a sharp eye for detail and the capability to improve the clarity and impact of scientific content

• Strong familiarity with medical terminology and scientific writing conventions, along with experience in utilizing editing style guides

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Proficiency in editing software and tools, as well as document management systems

• Proven capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
