Senior Node.js Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance microservices that handle the processing and distribution of clinical and laboratory data.

• Create integrations between internal systems and external partners.

• Build REST APIs to query and manage patient information and consents.

• Implement asynchronous processing workflows utilizing AWS SQS and SNS.

• Play a role in advancing the platform's event-driven architecture.

• Engage in data transformation and processing using the FHIR standard.

• Ensure quality assurance through automated testing and code reviews.

• Troubleshoot distributed workflows and analyze incidents in production.

• Take part in defining technical aspects and making architectural decisions for platform services.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product features and integrations continuously.

• Contribute to the observability, monitoring, and performance enhancement of services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Node.js.

• Experience with TypeScript.

• Knowledge of REST API development.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

• Skills in designing and consuming REST integrations.

• Understanding of asynchronous programming and distributed processing.

• Experience in automated testing (both unit and integration).

• Knowledge of SOLID principles and Clean Code practices.

• Familiarity with software engineering best practices.

• Experience with AWS SQS.

• Experience with AWS SNS.

• Understanding of event-driven architecture.

• Knowledge of asynchronous message processing.

• Experience with MongoDB.

• Skills in document modeling.

• Competence in query creation and optimization.

• Experience with Redis for caching and high performance.

• Familiarity with AWS services.

• Proficiency in Docker.

• Experience with Git.

• Knowledge of CI/CD processes.

• Familiarity with YAML-based configuration.

• Skills in structured logging.

• Experience in troubleshooting within distributed environments.
