📋 Description

• **Develop and Maintain Software Applications:**

• - Design, develop, test, debug, and document software applications utilizing .NET, cloud technologies, and associated tools.

• - Ensure applications meet performance, quality, and responsiveness standards.

• - Collaborate with the team to define, design, and implement new features.

• **Collaboration and Support:**

• - Partner with project leaders, product owners, and developers to comprehend business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• - Provide continuous maintenance, support, and enhancements for existing systems.

• - Assist end-users of the application by troubleshooting and resolving issues.

• **Continuous Improvement:**

• - Keep abreast of new technology trends and best practices in .NET development.

• - Consistently enhance the codebase, rectify bugs, and optimize performance.

• - Engage in code reviews to uphold code quality and promote shared knowledge.

• **Testing and Documentation:**

• - Create and sustain detailed documentation for software solutions.

• - Develop and execute unit and functional tests to ensure code quality.

• - Assist in defining test scenarios and testing developed functionalities.

• **Educational Attainment:**

• - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• - Equivalent practical experience or certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, .NET certifications) will also be accepted.

• - A commitment to ongoing learning and staying up-to-date with modern development practices is highly regarded.

• **Professional Background:**

• - Demonstrated experience in SaaS or product-centric environments, particularly with complex or data-driven platforms.

• - Comfortable operating within fast-paced, high-scale tech teams utilizing Agile/DevOps methodologies.

• - Experience contributing to enterprise-grade software with a global user base.

• - Knowledge of the maritime or e-learning domain is advantageous but not mandatory.

• - Ability to quickly grasp and adapt to domain-specific challenges in regulated or mission-critical sectors.

• **Expected Areas of Competence:**

• - Proficiency in .NET and object-oriented programming.

• - Extensive experience in commercial software development.

• - Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ).

• - Proficient in Test-Driven Development, including writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests.

• - Skilled in REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and client-server architecture.

• - Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MSSQL, MongoDB).

• - Hands-on experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).

• - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and performance tuning.

• - Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical abilities.

• - Bonus: Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), GraphQL, Keycloak, Jenkins, and ElasticSearch.
